As the latest addition to their opulent and innovative culinary offerings, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, has announced an all new dining experience designed to invigorate the senses during a multi-course dinner held in the resort’s lush botanical garden. Framed by verdant greenery and the sound of the waves, the new ‘Elements’ dining concept combines Inspiration from earth, water, fire, and air, with each course designed to stimulate sight, sound, taste, smell, and touch to create an exciting culinary journey unlike any other.

Upon entry into the gently illuminated Chef’s Garden, guests are greeted by a sensory delight from the lush and aromatic herbs such as Italian basil, mint, green chillies and red amaranth. Tactile sensations are enhanced by unique utensils and textured tableware that encourages diners to interact with dishes in unconventional ways. The Elements menu makes use of fresh, local ingredients, implementing innovative techniques such as encapsulation and edible vapours to delight the senses and evoke nostalgia. Additionally, guests can opt to try the blind wine tasting experience, where the inhibition of sight from a silk blindfold heightens the senses of taste and smell, allowing for better appreciation of the wine’s delicate aromas. Some highlights of the tasting menu include: Mind your Head (Island chips with an array of exquisite dips to mesmerise your gustatory cortex that includes foie gras, goat cheese, Island roselle, pineapple, Island chilli, dates, paprika, beet and Muraglia), Biosphere of Caviar (Osetra caviar, Atlantic salmon roe, Tasmanian scampi caviar, beluga, Albino caviar, wild wasabi puree, edible soil, quail eggs, Element flora) and Sea Cured (Sea cured reef fish, beefsteak leaf avocado crema, pomelo, truffle soya dip).
