The Finest Portuguese Cuisine is Showcased by Renowned Chefs at Pine Cliffs Resort, Algarve

Pine Cliffs Resort, A Luxury Collection Resort in the Algarve, will be offering guests the opportunity to sample the finest Portuguese cuisine in April and May as it announces the 3rd edition of its popular Chef’s Table events with four nationally renowned Michelin-starred chefs from Portugal.

The series honours national cuisine through an exclusive and intimate experience with each chef, who will unveil a menu promising a perfect fusion between the most authentic flavours combined with creative and original techniques.

In total, there will be four dinners taking place throughout April and May in the resort’s own Cooking School, MIMO Algarve, which include a welcome drink, a menu designed by the host chef comprising 6 courses and wine pairing.

Chef Arnaldo Azevedo, in charge of the Vila Foz Restaurant (one Michelin Star), will offer a Chef’s Table on April 19 with a menu expected to be bold, thus reflecting his unique and characteristic style.

Following him, Chef Alexandre Silva will be participating for the second time, and he leads the restaurants Fogo and Loco (one Michelin Star) in Lisbon. On May 3, guests will have the opportunity to discover some of Chef Alexandre Silva’s surprising dishes that are expected to be daring and creative, with a focus on Portuguese products.

The third dinner takes place on May 17 and will be hosted by chef Rui Paula, who has been part of the Chef’s Table since the first edition, and who leads the Casa de Chá da Boa Nova restaurant (two Michelin Stars).

To conclude the Chef’s Table, on May 31, chef Benoît Sinthon, leading the Il Gallo D’Oro restaurant in Madeira (two Michelin Stars), takes the stage at MIMO Algarve. Chef Benoit also has a green star, an accolade awarded by the Michelin Guide to sustainable restaurants. In his first participation in this event, the chef traveling from Madeira to the Algarve will present a menu inspired by Mediterranean cuisine that unites the flavours of land and sea.

To allow a greater number of people the opportunity to better understand the work of the esteemed chefs participating in this event, this year for the first time all guests can enjoy the dish created the day after the dinner promoted by the host chef for dinner at the O Pescador restaurant, also located at Pine Cliffs Resort.

The Chef’s Table dinners start at 8:00 PM, and are available for €195 /£167 per person. The events are limited to 26 people.
