Mimosa at The Langham

The Parisian restaurant group brings Riviera charm to iconic London hotel, The Langham

MOMA Group is proud to announce the arrival of Mimosa at The Langham, the first UK outpost from Paris opens in time for spring, transporting guests to the sun-kissed shores of the French Riviera. 

Anchoring itself within historical buildings, with its first location at Hotel de La Marine in Paris, Mimosa in London is situated within The Langham, offering a taste of Mediterranean allure in the heart of the capital. Guests will experience the journey between land and sea, as the menu, interiors and drinks effortlessly capture the spirit of the French Riviera with its fusion of French heritage and modern style. 

Situated within the dining room formally occupied by Roux at the Landau and overseen by Michel Roux Jr, a new concept awaits. Acclaimed French designer Dorothée Delaye (renowned for her projects on Coco Chanel’s apartment in The Hôtel Sookie) has ensured Parisian design flourishes. The dining room features high ceilings and expansive bay windows with high palm chandeliers, rattan fixtures, and blue ceramic sconces, further elevating the luxurious atmosphere. All eyes will be drawn to the central fig tree, whilst elements of Riva wood and deep mahogany compliments the coral carpet and pops of vibrant hues. Ceramic wall lights and large placed mirrors add softness to the room, evoking the timeless charm of the Riviera. 

The menu captures the essence of ‘joie de vivre,’ with a sharing Mediterranean concept. Classics includewhole sea bass baked in salt crust with sauce vierge & warm “Cote d’Azur” style potato salad“Riviera” style spit-roast corn-fed coquelet with thyme and confit lemon, and Gratinated Taglioni with bechamel, white ham, and Reggiano parmesan. From the garden – vibrant confit vegetables such as Burnt leek “Mimosa” style, confit tuna bellTomato tartar with pan de Cristal, and Authentic salade Niçoise await. 

For a truly unique experience, guests can savour the iconic Mimosa devilled eggs at the dedicated Mimosa bar, with five signature toppings to choose from. 

The large outdoor terrace offers the ideal backdrop to soak up the vibrant atmosphere and city scene whilst acting as a haven for private events. Whether guests are looking for an intimate seated gathering for 60 guests or a more casual cocktail-style event for 120 people, the space will be a sun-kissed spot, reflecting the Riviera charm the restaurant is known for.

Drawing inspiration from the golden era of Capri and the vibrant energy of the 60s, combined with a modern niçoise revival, Mimosa captures the essence of the sun-drenched south of France. With its Riviera spirit and unparalleled culinary offerings, it is set to become one of the most exciting openings of the year.
