Dalloway Terrace, one of London’s most famous alfresco dining spots, is in full bloom this summer. From now until the end of October, the terrace promises to transport guests from the bustling streets of London to an English wildflower-filled meadow complete with a charming selection of beautifully crafted Silent Pool Gin cocktails.

Championing the British summer time and inspired by Virginia Woolf’s novel Mrs Dalloway, the verdant installation plays on the restaurant’s central city location, mirroring the juxtaposition between the main character Mrs Dalloway’s youth spent in the peaceful British countryside and her vibrant adult life in London.
Set against a backdrop of fresh green foliage, white English roses and peonies, plus lavender, hydrangeas and wisteria, the terrace offers a serene escape amid its urban surroundings where guests can sip on bespoke cocktails including the coconutty Mrs Dalloway Club – made from Silent Pool Gin, Cocchi Rosa, lemon juice, honey, raspberry and coconut milk – which is perfect for those in the mood for something fruity and light.
Another highlight on the menu is the refreshing and mild Surrey Hills Bee’s Knees featuring Bee Friends Honey Water harvested at Silent Pool’s distillery in Albury along with Silent Pool Gin, lemon juice and lavender.

Try the superb Sgroppino Royalefor something fizzy and floral – a blend of Silent Pool Gin, homemade Pimm’s Sorbet and Prosecco, just perfect for sipping in the sunshine, or a Butterfly Tea & Tonic made from Silent Pool Gin, butterfly tea and London Essence orange and elderflower tonic. Finally, the perfectly punchy Albury Park Negroni – madewithSilent Pool Gin, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto and Beesou Bitter Honey – is not one to be missed.
Dalloway Terrace also welcomes some fantastic new additions to its menu for the summer, including Cornish Plaice ceviche with avocado and a chilli and citrus dressing; courgette and garden pea risotto with Cashel blue cheese and toasted pine nuts and a fabulous English Strawberry tart served with Pimm’s sorbet.
Children’s afternoon tea (£25 per child) is also available at Dalloway Terrace between 12pm and 4pm throughout the school holidays. While the children get their little hands on delicious finger sandwiches, scones and spectacular sweet treats, adults can enjoy a delectable Silent Pool Gin cocktail in the sunshine.
Escape the city and indulge in the wild beauty of British botanicals at Dalloway Terrace this summer. Silent Pool Gin’s limited-edition menu will run from July through to October 2024.
