With spring on the way (even though it might not feel like it!), it’s the perfect time to relax with a glass of wine courtesy of Spanish food and drink specialist Ibèrica at Home

Here we list some of Ibérica restaurants’ best bottles below that are guaranteed to suit a range of occasions, budgets and tastebuds.

Sierra Cantabria D.O. Ca. Rioja (£15) 

Sierra Cantabria Blanco D.O. Rioja is a white wine cultivated in line with the natural biorhythms of its much-loved environment. The grapes are selectively harvested by hand into 20 kg crates and, once they reach the winery, they are de-stemmed and crushed in the traditional way to achieve a smoother extraction. On the palate is crisp, silky and delicate with primary fresh citrus fruit, apricots and a hint of vanilla.

Terras Gauda D.O. Rías Baixas(£21)

Bodegas Terras Gauda produces this indulgent white wine from grapes harvested in the Rías Baixas region of Spain. The grapes are fermented with natural yeasts, vinified separately, and blended together before being filtered and bottled. When poured, its golden hue is captivating, while its aroma combines delicate floral notes with hints of pear, melon and citrus. A complex wine easy to drink.

Vilarnau Brut Reserva Rosé D.O. Cava(£13.50)

An organic Spanish sparkling rosé cava wine made using the traditional method. Garnacha and Pinot Noir grapes are harvested from Vilarnau’s  winery vineyards and fermented separately for 30 days before blending and second fermentation over 15 months on the lees in bottle. Pale pink in appearance, Vilarnau Brut Reserva Rose shows great aromatic complexity, offering scents of subtle violets and roses in alongside ripe strawberry, blackberry and blueberry. 

Beronia Dos Maderas D.O.Ca. Rioja(£15) 

An Ibérica exclusive, this contemporary red wine is alluring, well structured and has captured the character of an outstanding part of the world. Ripe and full of berry fruits and spice, Beronia Dos Maderas’ velvety texture is an iconic classic. A modern-style Reserva, full-bodied and complex, made from grapes grown on vines more than 40 years old. Beronia Dos Maderas is contemporary in style with an irresistible complexity.
